In the morning, it was Brian Moran.
Picking up more local endorsements, obtaining support from the majority of Democrats who sit on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and the Fairfax School Board. It’s a list that grows every day, including some of the most prominent names in NOVA, Hampton Roads and Richmond.
But the nighttime was the right time for Terry McAuliffe.
He easily won the straw poll at Gerry Connolly’s annual St. Paddy’s Day bash, beating Moran almost 2-1 with 58% to 30% and Deeds trailing both at 12%.
